I bought our fridge about 3 weeks ago and I’m glad I did! I had never heard of Frigidaire before, but decided to go for it anyway. It has worked perfectly for my family and hasn’t given us any problems at all! There are only 2 things I would change about it...first, the light on the water/ice dispenser. I wish it was automatic rather than only having an on/off feature! It would make nighttime easier without having to turn on my big kitchen light. And second, the ice maker shoots ice out like crazy! I have to hold my hand around my glass in order to not make a mess. It needs some kind of flap or something to avoid that!! Otherwise, my family is happy with our new fridge!

It has only been 3 years and my refrigerator is not working. The temperature is saying a higher temperature then what is set. Now my freezer is accumulate ice and everything is melting. I should not have to be repairing nor be buying a new refrigerator after three years. The problem is I have the whole set of Fridgiaire gallery set and my dishwasher hold water at the bottom and doesnt clean right and smells. I am so disappointed and upset cause I have to figure out where I'm going to come up with the money to fix or buy a new one.

Compressor failed after 4 years

I bought this refrigerator/freezer four years ago and the compressor seized up. The cost of repair exceeds $1100.00 Prior to this the ice machine was constantly failing to produce ice and had to be reprogrammed about once every three months. Not happy and will have to purchase a new fridge

The ice crusher broke after a year and this is apparently a common thing...the whole bin has to be replaced to fix it and will continue to be a problem if you use the crushed ice...but the worst is the ice jams...the whole design is trash...just about every time the ice gets stuck because the ice is too long and the hole it falls out of is too small. I mean, when you're have a built in error code for this it means you knew that you have a problem...30 years ago my parents had a ice despensor and for over the many years they had it...zero jams. THIS IS JUST ABOUT EVERYTIME. FIX THE ICE CRUSHER DESIGN AND DONT PUT MOVING METAL PARTS IN PLASTIC! And another thing...the ice crusher blades were bent up from crushing ice so quit using cheap steel.

Terrible product. I will never buy another fridgedaire product again in my life. Ice either dispenses one sad little cube or 10 or 12 all at once. The ice keeps coming after you let go of the dispenser. Then it either jams or little chips of ice fall all over the floor. Chips come out even though cubes is selected which has ruined our hardwood floor all around the fridge because it’s impossible to pick up every single little ice chip. DO NOT BUY. How this product got released to the market is beyond me. Also have fridgedaire dishwasher which doesn’t work well either.
