When my 20 plus years Maytag commercial grade machine needed to be replaced last month, I immediately purchased a new one. I loved my old machine; it had just the right features and never gave us a day of trouble. The new seems to be working well so far but I noticed the high spin seems to beat the heck out the laundry. On one occasion, the basket was actually bumping against the machine cabinet and ended up turning the machine a good 20-30 degrees! The load consisted of one set os sheets and two tees shirts so it should not have become so unbalanced. Hoping this was just a one time incident. I miss being able to set the water level, especially when washing just one or two items that require separate washing. Otherwise, the machine is doing a good job of getting clothes clean. Hoping we will have many years of dependability like the old one.

There are a few features I am disappointed with on washer. I would like to be able to put small, med or large loads in and control how much water according to load size. Also, would like to be able to lift lid and not be locked out until the final spin cycle of course. I would like to be able to leave lid open while its filling and I'm putting clothes in, I like to see what I'm doing before washing starts

This model is awesome. Easy to operate! Clothes come out clean! Made in the USA! Its not that noisy like some have complained but it does make weird sounds (not noise) just sounds. It is normal according to manual and youtube review videos so I didn't freakout (I was expecting it). Love the pre-soak and extra rinse features. This is your basic hard working washing machine like mom had!
