First one we had came built in with a new house failed after 3 years. That model was no longer in production and had to purchase one that didn’t fit the built in feature. Purchased that for hundreds of dollars and now less than a 1 1/2 years this door is very difficult to open. It’s been very difficult for a while and has now failed. There are way too many other makers to get GE products. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. No more GE!

I’m considering a black slate refrigerator, and since our microwave is right next to it, I’d prefer to get something to match. I found the built in trim kit JX7227fmds in black slate, but don’t find this microwave in black slate, it’s either black or gray. Which is a better match?
