I had to replace an old cooktop. This was easy to install, looks nice, and cooks well. I am amazed at how quickly water boils. Some of my pans are louder than others, but the noise is reasonable.

Looks really great on our dark granite counter top - with the completely flat surface you barely know its there which we love. Controls are straight forward and easy to use. Auto size selection is great. The power boil is incredible Cleanup is breeze. There is a bit of learning curve on which settings to use for particular cooking tasks however. You do have to learn to adjust your cooking habits though, you don't have anywhere near as much prep time as you do would with an electric or gas cooktop since it is ready so quickly.
