When my old cooktop cracked, after only 4 years in use, I researched a replacement for several weeks before deciding on this Frigidaire. Looking for quality and function, the Frigidaire was the best. In 30+ years I've owned only 3 brands of major appliances, Frigidaire being the one I always return to.

Large, attractive look to the counter top stove !! NO UGLY burners & uglier drip pans under neath them, to be seen !! Sturdier knobs with more choices for heat levels !!!I am mastering the cleaning technique.

Found this older model discounted. My wife liked having both large, two sizes, cooking areas in front. Liked the knobs can be thrown in the dishwasher. We looked at electronic control models, but they required 5 to 6 in depth. Our small kitchen has two utensil draws below this. Our previous cooktop was the same 2.5 in. depth. This was an inch difference in width and length, but 20 min with a jigsaw and it dropped in place. I wired it up, as with the previous cooktop back in 1991. The wife loves it, looks good, heats fast.
